A. Information You Provide Directly:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, contact number, password, and profile details when you register as a Buyer or Seller.
  • Seller/Buyer Details: For Sellers, information related to your expertise, biography, and documents you list. For Buyers, your purchase history and interests.
  • Financial Information: We do not directly store your full payment card details. Payment processing is handled by our trusted third-party payment gateway, Cashfree Payments. We receive and store transaction identifiers, amounts, and payout account details (for Sellers, such as bank account number, IFSC code, and name as per bank records) necessary to facilitate payouts.
  • Communications: Contents of your messages, inquiries, or support tickets sent to us via email or the Platform.
  • Document Content: The documents (research reports, files) you upload as a Seller, which may contain personal or proprietary information.

B. Information Collected Automatically:

  • Device & Log Data: IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, pages visited, time and date of visits, time spent on pages, and other diagnostic data.
  • Cookies & Tracking Technologies: We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to track activity on our Platform, remember your preferences, and analyze trends. You can control cookie settings through your browser.
  • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the Platform, including search queries, clicks, and document views.

C. Information from Third Parties:

We may receive limited information about you from third-party services, such as Cashfree Payments (to confirm transaction status) or social media platforms (if you choose to link your account).

Service Provision

Create and manage your account, process transactions, facilitate document delivery via email, provide customer support, and send service-related notifications.

Improvement & Personalization

Analyze usage patterns to improve Platform functionality, develop new features, and personalize your experience (e.g., showing relevant document recommendations).

Communication

Send you administrative updates, security alerts, support messages, and (with your consent) marketing communications about new features or documents.

Security & Fraud Prevention

Monitor and analyze activities to prevent fraudulent transactions, identity theft, and other unauthorized or illegal activities.

Legal & Compliance

Comply with applicable laws, regulations, legal processes (including the IT Act, 2000, and DPDPA, 2023), and enforce our Terms of Service.

Financial Processing

Calculate commissions, facilitate payouts to Sellers, and maintain financial records as required by law.

To execute the Terms of Service, facilitate the marketplace transaction between Buyers and Sellers, and deliver the documents you purchase.

To operate, secure, and improve our Platform, prevent fraud, and ensure network and information security.

Legal Obligation

To comply with tax laws (e.g., GST), financial regulations, and other statutory requirements under Indian law.

Buyer Information Shared

A Buyer's name and email address may be shared with the Seller for the purpose of completing the transaction and potential communication related to the purchased document.

Seller Information Shared

A Seller's public profile, listed documents, and name may be visible to all Users on the Platform.

With Trusted Third-Party Service Providers:

We engage vendors who assist in operations, strictly under confidentiality agreements:

  • Cashfree Payments: To process payments and payouts.
  • Cloud Hosting & Infrastructure Providers: To store data and host the Platform.
  • Email Communication Services: To deliver documents and transactional emails.
  • Analytics Providers: (e.g., Google Analytics) to understand Platform usage.

For Legal Reasons:

We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal processes; to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our Users or the public; or to enforce our Terms of Service.

Business Transfers:

In connection with a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or bankruptcy, your information may be transferred as a business asset.

Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

Right to Nominate

You may nominate another individual to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity.
